COMMUNITY PROJECTS

Throughout the surrounding communities, there are numerous shallow water wells that are utilized for bathing, washing plates, etc. However, many of these wells are not properly covered & secured, which unfortunately has led to serious injuries & even death in some cases.

On this trip, we were able to repair & secure four (4) water wells. We have a dream to see every well covered & secured in our surrounding communities!

COMMUNITY HEALTHCARE

We painted a ward at our local hospital & prayed over many patients & nurses at three (3) different clinics.

COMMUNITY EDUCATION

During this trip we visited four (4) different local schools & ministered to the students through a kids program. We painted the exterior of two (2) schools & were able to outfit one (1) school with new windows & chalk boards!

PRAYER THROUGHOUT THE CITY

During this trip we went to seven (7) different prayer locations & prayed for specific sectors of our city.
(representing prayers over churches, government, education, media, entertainment/arts/sport, business, & family within our city

Also, throughout this trip, countless number of people were prayed for at the local clinics, hospital, and throughout the communities. Many people came home to Jesus and encountered him for the very first time.

YOUTH DAY

We held a special afternoon gathering to love on our youth! We were able to fellowship with one another through FUN games as 74 young people showed up on a rainy afternoon!

WOMEN’S SPA DAY

We hosted the mamas & young ladies from our church family at our coffeehouse & treated them to a spa day. The goal was to specifically bless + love on the people who are always taking care of other people. It was our joy to get to pamper these fifteen amazing women for the day!

Manicures + pedicures were given, hair was braided/styled, and we drank lots of coffee while enjoying some yummy snacks. This was a day full of LOTS of smiles & laughter!

SPORTS DAY

During this trip, we held a super fun afternoon of sports, which finished with experiencing & cheering on the championship intramural volleyball game!

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

We were able to finish building a new house for a young family within our church family. We were able to dedicate this new house to be a place where God rules & reigns. We believe this home will be a beacon of light for the Kingdom in the community. After it was completed, we also helped them move into their new home!

SOLAR-POWERED STREET LIGHTS

We installed 10 solar street lamps in the surrounding compounds. This year alone we have already installed 16 new lights in the community!

COMMUNITY-WIDE TRASH CLEANUP

In a monumental effort by our crew (+ over 200 of our church family members), we cleaned up our city & removed 400+ bags of trash!
