OUR STORY
In 2019, just three months after our wedding, Mehgan and I boarded a plane for Zambia to attend Poetice’s School of Justice + Mission. Those three months shaped the foundation of our marriage and deepened our walk with God. Even then, we sensed God was calling us back one day. But the Holy Spirit simply said, “Not yet.”

So we waited.

Back in Michigan, we built a home, welcomed two incredible children, Marla (2021) and David (2022), and continued serving faithfully while preparing our hearts for whatever God had next. Through every season, we held onto one prayer: that when God said, “Now,” we would be ready.

In early 2025, while preparing to lead another team to Zambia, I sensed the Holy Spirit speak more clearly than ever: “Now is the time.” When I shared it with Mehgan, her response was immediate: “If God is calling us, I’m in.”

Today, our family is living in Choma, Zambia, serving alongside the Poetice community and investing our lives in the people God has called us to love.

WHAT WE’RE DOING
Each day, we have the privilege of building relationships, making disciples, and serving alongside local leaders as God continues to move throughout Choma.

Our heart is:
– To see people encounter the love of Jesus.
– To see families strengthened and communities flourish.
– To equip and disciple local leaders so the Gospel continues to multiply for generations to come.

This isn’t just a trip or a season of ministry. We’ve moved our family to Zambia because we believe God has invited us to make our lives available for His Kingdom here.
