Toro was born from a simple dream in our hearts and profound prophecy: coffee and calling. Ettienne and I shared a love for specialty coffee — not only for its craft and flavor, but for the way it gathers people. A good cup invites conversation, slows the pace, and creates a space where stories can unfold. From the beginning, we believed coffee could be more than a product; it could be a tool for connection, for building community, and for carrying a greater mission.

Our hearts have always been stirred by the nations, by the call to bring light and hope into places where it is often difficult to go. Many doors remain closed to traditional missionaries, yet coffee — humble, daily, and universal — opens doors effortlessly. Through Toro, we discovered that roasting and serving coffee could become a bridge: from the farm to the cup, from conversation to faith, from everyday life to eternal impact.
