In 2019, just three months after our wedding, Mehgan and I boarded a plane for Zambia to attend Poetice’s School of Justice + Mission. Those three months shaped the foundation of our marriage and our walk with God. We sensed God’s call even then, but the Holy Spirit said, “Not yet.”

So we waited. We built a life in Michigan — jobs, a home, and two wonderful children, Marla (2021) and David (2022). But all along, we prayed and prepared for the day when God would say, “Now.”

That day came in early 2025. While preparing to lead another team to Zambia, I heard the Holy Spirit as clearly as ever: “Now is the time.” And when I brought this to Mehgan, her response was simple: “If God is calling us, I’m in.”

Our Mission
In the summer of 2026, our family will return to Choma, Zambia, to join Poetice full-time. Our calling is clear:
To see people come to know Jesus.

To see families restored and communities transformed.

To disciple and equip local leaders so the Gospel multiplies for generations to come.
