A simple “yes” in the fall of 2013—what I thought was a “yes” to one trip to Zambia turned into a 9-year journey of God captivating my heart for this nation.

Chances are you know me, and you know how passionate I am about Zambia. If not, welcome to the story! Five “yeses” later and I’m even more in love with the Lord than when I started!

The people here at Poetice are whole-heartedly running hard after Jesus. And man is it contagious. I’m sure this sounds cliche, but once you’ve experienced it you know. I’m watching people’s lives get transformed in real-time as they’re realizing that God’s fingerprint of purpose and pursuit of us is stamped on every page of His Word—what a joy to get to be a witness to this.

Looking back now, that first “yes” wrecked my whole life—in the best way. I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be. I feel so alive here and I’m humbled that I get to partner with God in such a beautiful country with some of the most amazing people that have become family.

What’s going on over here in Zambia is just too good for me to keep to myself. So I want to invite you to be a part of it! It’s an honor to get to be fully dependent on the Lord to provide for all my financial support through those of you who keep saying YES to Him with me.
