Spiritual Growth

July 5th, 2017 Posted by Immersion Internship - 2017

Hi my name is Joel Ng’ambi, born in a family of four with two boys and two girls. I am the first born. I’m a sports coordinator and soccer coach with a D-Licence under the Football Association of Zambia and a holder of futbol da’forcer Coaching Certificate and a C-Licence under Confederation of Africa Football (CAF). Currently I’m serving as with our Soccer Ministry as a coach.

It’s my pleasure and a blessing to be part of the 2017 immersion internship. Since we started learning I have experienced spiritual growth and faith in our might creator Jehovah God. It has been great for me to experience God’s favour in an atmosphere of people coming from different parts of the world with different beliefs and different cultures but having only one goal of learning more about Jehovah God and other aspects of life. This is a cherished moment that I will never forget.

I faced challenges with how to interact with my fellow interns. However, one week into the program every intern told their stories, and through everyone’s vulnerability trust was created and I learned how to open up and interact with my fellow interns. I also faced challenges with the change in diet but none the less my body has come to adapt to different cultural diets.
