JOEL NG'AMBI: Second Update

July 24th, 2017 Posted by Immersion Internship - 2017

Hi all!! It’s Joel again and the ride keeps getting better!! The past weeks after my last blog have been so awesome. I have learned a lot of things and there nothing sharper than the word of the Almighty God, no weapon compares to it. Patience and endurance have been some of the important things I have learned and put to practice. Relating that to God, He is truly patient with us and endures our every rejection that we put on Him. Having been made in his image, it’s only just that I portray His character towards the people around me and in certain circumstances of life. Submission is one of my week disciplines that, I have but through the program I have come to learn the benefits of humility and how unifying the discipline is if put in a healthy practice. It’s important to submit and humble ourselves before God because without him we are lost.

Recently I had the opportunity of doing ministry in Malawi with my fellow interns and that trip has benefited me a lot on my faith and spiritual life. Ministering in Magonchi a Muslim dominated town was very interesting and on my own I couldn’t have done nothing but thank God that His spirit dwells among us. I witnessed Gods’ power and authority first hand in every house that we ministered. One of my joy was seeing people flocking to be saved by Jesus Christ, and I was happy to see people receiving Jesus as Their Lord and Savior.

Personally seeing God move in these peoples’ lives had me grow in faith and spirit. It’s amazing to see how inclusive God is, whichever religion a person belongs to doesn’t really matter His Love, grace and mercy are sufficient for all. Even Muslims He heals.
