Hi guys we have finally reached the end of the road for my internship chapter but I believe the Lord has been preparing me for a greater chapter. This experience has been life changing and eye opening I got to make new friends for life, got to get to know my Heavenly Father more, my identity in Christ, Gods dream and vision for Africa, what it means to be free, what it means to be a leader and also to how a true Christ follower should live. I got to serve with wonderful and amazing people here at this camp. I also got to meet the poetice staff who are very amazing people the most amazing thing of all was seeing God move in ways I have never seen him move before that really taught me that I should not put God in a box.

Demons where being cast out, the sick where being healed and people where giving their life to Christ and it was amazing. The teams that also came for program 10 were so amazing because of the faith they had in the lord and their willingness to serve the lord really inspired and motivated me and each and every day that I have spent in Zambia has been life changing. The Malawi outreach was where I felt like the lord was moving and it makes my heart joyful knowing how much the Muslim culture are willing to have a relationship with the lord whereas some Christians are not willing to be intimate with the lord and this truly hurt me. Being in communion with God is the best thing ever and as much as they say they follow him they are not in communion or intimate with him.

The staff here have taught me how to love and also shown me what it means to have your family life centered on Christ and also the joy it brings and that has been amazing seeing their joy in everything they do and for this thank you to the Howell’s family and the Emert family. Knowing the lord has been my best take away out of this internship because he has reviewed himself to me on how much he loves me and also how he was waiting for me. The reach for life camp in Livingstone was very transformational for me because I realized that even though we did not really know the program 10 people we connected with each other because we are of the same body of Christ we really got to get closer and saying good bye was one of the hardest things I had to do and I really miss them. God is just amazing guys and the way he moves is just awesome. The friendships which we have made are amazing the way the MAPONA AND KABANANA community impacted my life was just amazing because personally I never thought that I could be so in love and attached to these two communities.
Love & Peace!

BLESSING BUSUSU – Second Update!

July 24th, 2017 Posted by Immersion Internship - 2017 0 comments on “BLESSING BUSUSU – Second Update!”

Hi guys!

I am back again! But, before I go anyway further I wish to say that the Lord is wonderful and good. However, each and every day seems to pass my expectations. The topics we have been learning about the past weeks have been amazing. Africa week was amazing getting to learn a lot about God’s dream and vision for Africa. This internship has opened my eyes to a truth that was in front of me but I could not see it. Thanks to pastor FRED MBEWE and MR BRUCE CHITAMBALA for the topics that they taught us on. It was great and like I said, eye opening. Thank you to the Mpeta family for the outreach week we spent in Malawi it was amazing and I really saw the lord move in many different ways such as; praying for people and seeing them get healed and then also praying for spiritually oppressed people. The demons went running away just by saying the name of JESUS. The best thing that really came out of the trip was a lot of people giving their life to JESUS CHRIST and this just showed that Philippians 2:9-11 is real and it’s up to us to help others experience it.

These past weeks have had a lot of challenges. In Malawi I lacked motivation a lot but because of the Lord every time I went into the village it felt like I had this extra zeal and this extra energy in me. I could not understand what it came from. The faith of the people in Malawi really moved me to a greater length and also it was what I really needed. I really experienced the Lord and it was amazing. The revelation of God’s dream for Africa was just a mind blowing topic because it really showed me my roots. It was also one of the biggest eye openers and it’s really a blessing for me. Although it did take time to process and was also the hardest challenged I faced. The Lord is just so good and wonderful he looks for us and reveals the truth but it’s up to us to accept and find it because it is closer than we think. This topic really helped because it made me understand that God loves each and every one of us.

The disciplines have also been some of my favorite topics and they have helped me grow emotionally and spiritually. It has been amazing especially the topic on service. It helped me understand that true service is the best thing that one can do. If I should lead anyone I should lead as a servant and it has been amazing practicing this discipline because it has helped me serve myself and by doing that I have learned to serve others better. This is the best feeling ever and has brought me closer to Christ.

My last note for this week is that I am so thankful for this wonderful and amazing program, the people that made my coming here possible and also to the most important person in my life right now JESUS CHRIST for giving me the agape vision and also the agape love. This is the best gifts I have ever received and I am loving it. THIS IS DEFINITELY THE BEST TIME OF MY LIFE AND I KNOW THAT THERE ARE MORE WAITING.

My New Family

Hi people! My name is Blessing Tonderai Bususu. I am from a city called Kadoma in the Mashonaland West Province of Zimbabwe. I live with my wonderful mother and little sister. I am very thankful for this wonderful and amazing internship program. It has been very challenging but for a good and purposeful cause. I am currently doing this internship in Choma Zambia. It is a wonderful place to be and the people here are loving. The first thing and most wonderful thing about this internship was that it brought me 19 new wonderful siblings as a bonus and a twin brother in Christ. This internship has brought me closer to people who have a wonderful vision just as I do and I praise the Lord for what he is doing in my life.

Upon my arrival here we were taken on a hike that taught me that the Lord is always walking and working in different ways. This internship has been an adventure since day one. I have greatly enjoyed getting to know the other interns as well as staff. Getting to know them has brought us closer as a family and has been one of the best parts of this internship because I am experiencing my Creator’s love from my internship family. I have also been learning a lot from the wonderful people that are coming from faraway places to teach us about our identity, freedom and purpose which has really grown me as an individual.
I have also been placed in the Soccer Ministry and it has been incredible to spend time with the soccer players and also minister to them on Mondays. We also do a program called Kids Club every Wednesday in which I get to spend time with over one hundred kids. I am loving it and I cannot wait to see what the rest of this summer will hold.
I am really happy because I am growing physically and spiritually and am also experiencing the Lord’s wonderful power and I am praying that the Lord keeps building me up. I also miss my family back home.
